With HPE Command View for Tape Libraries (CVTL) - part of the HPE Storage Tape Library and Management Software family—the MSL 1/8 Autoloader is easy to manage remotely, minimizing the need for on-site IT support. Media management is simplified with an integrated barcode reader, configurable mail slot, and removable magazines. Optional data encryption guards against unauthorized access - even if a tape is lost or stolen. Quickly increase capacity and/or performance with tool-free drive upgrades or move tape drive kits to the MSL3040 or MSL6480 for scalability and additional enterprise-class features.
