The Smart Cabinet ID offers a complete micro data center solution to rapidly convert unconditioned areas into a pre-engineered edge IT space for your critical IT infrastructure. This solution consists of a cabinet based on VS3350I rack (42 U, 1200 mm deep, 800 mm wide) with 3,5 kW self-contained condensing unit (ZCC03C) for standard ambient that provides cool air directly to your critical IT gear. The self-contained condensing unit carries the waste heat with an air duct into the suspended ceiling or it remains in a large hall, it is delivering 3.5k cooling with advanced IP54 environmental protection for critial IT deployed in demanding environments. The rack system separates the cool air in the front from hot exhaust air in the rear. The Smart Cabinet ID includes a 3 years warranty on the entire system with product registration. Vertiv offers optional installation and preventative maintenance services. It represents perfect solution for industrial environment especially for production sites with dust, buildings with sprinklers and polluted warehouses.
Smart Cabinet ID is " plug and play" solution shipped within days. The operating costs for the micro data center are minimized due to cooling power is adapted to the heat output of the installed IT equipment. All components are integrated and matched to each other. The system is deployed is within hours. Power and network must be connected. Once the IT equipment is installed, operations can begin.
For highest availability and reliability, only the best industry standard components have been selected for the Smart Cabinet ID. All components are perfectly harmonized with each other and thus provide the IT equipment with the best conditions for uninterrupted operation. Integrated cooling takes up zero rack U-space, allowing for more IT installation. Emergency backup fans ensure proper airflow and avoids overheating.
Smart Cabinet ID is designed for the lowest possible operating costs. Fully seaked cabinet provides 24/7 protection for IT equipment from damage of harsh environmental conditions. Built-in HMI display with communication capabilities allows for local or remote monitoring and control. Ensure high system availability with uninterrupted backup power with the optional Liebert GXT5 UPS.
Reliable and well-designed remote monitoring and control is crucial for the operation of edge applications in mostly remote locations without IT staff on site. The Vertiv Intelligence Director provides access to all Smart Cabinet iD networked components, Smart Cabinet ID cooling, UPS and PDU under one IP address und supports all common network protocols.
